Appearance:
Bright cherry red, hint of brick to the hue. Brilliant clarity.

Nose:
Rich cherry fruit and dried herbs. Hint of licorice and the slight earthy, ‘forest floor’ aroma typical of good pinot .

Palate:
Fruit driven, with sweet cherry, strawberry and violet evident. Great texture with velvety mouthfeel and fine tannin punctuating a very generous finish. A great pinot!

Drink:
Over the next 3-5 years, with increasing classic game/truffle/earthy characters developing along the way. A great all-rounder with food -beautiful with roast duck , all red meat, most pasta. Also, best served
slightly below room temperature - about 16-18C, so just 10 minutes in the fridge.
